Human and Animal Remains
In 2000 the ASCSA Corinth Excavations acquired a building and property to the north of the village square. After some minor repairs and alterations, including the addition of a ventilation system, the facility (known as the ‘Bone Apotheke’) now houses Corinth’s excellent collection of human bones. This collection displays a broad range of pathologies and peculiarities. In addition to several hundred square meters of shelved storage, the building also has a large covered study area.
