Sally Anderson Immerwahr (1914-2008)

Sally Anderson Immerwahr died on June 25, 2008, in Chapel Hill, of heart and kidney failure. She was 93. A pioneering scholar in prehistoric art and archaeology, and a dear friend of the American School's, Professor Immerwahr will be sadly missed.
