On June 25th, the Fulbright Foundation celebrated 60 years of presence in Greece. The American School contributed to this celebration with an essay entitled “The Unsung Pioneers. The Contribution of the American School of Classical Studies” drawing material from the School’s Archives. The School’s Archivist, Natalia Vogeikoff-Brogan, describes in the essay the contributions of M. Alison Frantz, Bert H. Hill and Carl W. Blegen to the successful implementation of the Fulbright Act in its incipient stages. A PDF of the article (4.6 MB) is available for download.
