New Extension and Reconstruction of the West Wing of the Gennadius Library

Within the 90 years of the Gennadius Library’s existence the world of libraries has undergone dramatic changes many of which have been addressed in the renovation campaigns of 1999 and 2004. Thanks to a major grant from the European Union (ΕΣΠΑ), a Challenge Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, and generous gifts of private donors the reconstruction and extension of the West Wing of the Gennadius Library is currently under way.
