Senior Librarian Irini Solomonidi and Assistant Librarian Asimina Rodi spent many hours in the second basement of the West Wing of the Gennadius Library sorting through old books and archival material before the space is closed for renovation in December 2014. Many of the duplicate volumes were given to relevant academic libraries, whereas other materials will be integrated in the collections of the Library.
