Kenchreai, Eastern Port of Corinth: Discoveries from the Excavations on Koutsongila

Excavation Co-Directors Joe Rife and Elena Korka issue a full report on ASCSA-affiliated excavations at Kenchreai. Digging during 2007-2009 produced many important discoveries including lavish buildings perhaps representing a residential quarter; a ritual-structure and pyre debris on the slope above the town; a sprawling cemetery; and a Late Antique octagonal building of great significance.
