The annual Wiener Laboratory Workshop on pottery was organized by Dr. Eleni Nodarou (head of the W.A. MacDonald Laboratory of Petrography at the INSTAP Study Center for East Crete) and Jerolyn Morisson (Minoan ceramic expert and anthropologist, University of Leicester) on January 15th. The workshop was attended by the regular members of the School and students from the French School at Athens. The students enjoyed hands-on work with clay and an introduction to scientific analysis of pottery.
