Tübingen University postgraduate student, Lucia Leierer
Ms Lucia Leierer (Tübingen University, Workgroup Prehistory and Archaeology Science, Geoarchaeology) visited the Malcolm H. Wiener Laboratory for a week in the context of the Malcolm H. Wiener Laboratory- Tübingen University Memorandum of Understanding. Her Master’s Thesis, supervised by Jun.-Prof. Dr.Christopher Miller (Tübingen University) and Dr T. Karkanas (ASCSA, Malcolm H. Wiener Director), deals with the analysis of micromorphological thin sections from Archaeological deposits. The thin sections she studied at the Laboratory facilities came from the site of ancient Corinth.
