On Wednesday 10th April, ten students of the postgraduate program "Greek-Italian Studies: History, Literature and Classical Tradition", together with their professors Gerasimos Pagkratis, Roumbini Dimopoulou and Ioannis Tsalkos, visited the Gennadius library.

The students had a tour of the Library, an introduction to its history and the chance to see first editions of Greek classics, the 1476  Epitome of Konstantinos Laskaris (the first dated book printed in Greek.), and also engravings from the book Morea, Negroponte & adiacenze of venetian cartographer Vincenzo Coronelli.
