Schliemann Books discussed at Gennadeion Trustees Dinner

At the Gennadeion Trustees Dinner on October 29, 2009, in New York City, Curtis Runnels, Professor of Archaeology in the Department of Archaeology at Boston University, presented a lively lecture on Heinrich Schliemann’s publications. Curtis Runnels has recently published the book The Archaeology of Heinrich Schliemann. An Annotated Bibliographic Handlist. The lecture enlightened the audience about Schliemann’s scholarship and showcased the Archives of the famous excavator of Troy and Mycenae, which are among the most valuable treasures of the Gennadius Library.
