The third joint Gennadius Library and the S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation Lecture took place on March 10, 2009: Peter Bien, fellow of the Onassis Foundation lectured on “The Philosophical Basis of Kazantzakis’s Writings”.
Peter Bien is Professor Emeritus of English and Comparative Literature, Dartmouth College, and a former president of the Modern Greek Studies Association.
