National Hellenic Society Features American School Scholars on “NHS Talks Stories: A Story of Philhellenism”
Four distinguished American School scholars were recently featured on a special edition of NHS Talks Stories hosted by the National Hellenic Society (NHS) and produced in collaboration with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens and National Hellenic Museum.
"A Story of Philhellenism: The History of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens" explored Greece through the eyes of Natalia Vogeikoff-Brogan, Archivist; John Camp, Director of the Athenian Agora Excavations; Jack Davis, Carl W. Blegen Professor of Greek Archaeology at the University of Cincinnati and former Director of the School; and William T. (Rob) Loomis, President of the Board of Trustees. Drake Behrakis, Chairman of the NHS' Board of Directors, and George Orfanakos, Executive Director of the American School, moderated this special event.
