Despite inclement weather, 120 Friends of the Gennadius Library enjoyed great food, drink and dancing at Kellari Taverna in New York City on March 18, 2013.
The event was to celebrate Kathara Deftera, or Clean Monday, which marks the beginning of Greek Lent.
We would like to thank corporate sponsor AlphaTrust, our co-chairs, patrons and friends for making this event possible. All proceeds from the evening contribute toward the operating expenses of the Gennadius Library.
Those not able to attend the event can still help the Library by participating in our online auction which ends March 26th.
