The 2006-2007 Annual Appeal was the most successful in School history, due largely to the generous $250,000 challenge gift from Trustee Emerita Doreen Spitzer. A total of 315 individuals contributed to meet the challenge, providing over $500,000 in unrestricted revenue for the last fiscal year and the current one. We are grateful to all who gave so generously to the Annual Appeal and to other School projects and programs in the past fiscal year.
The 2007-2008 Annual Appeal began on October 1 with a letter from Doreen mailed to our list of friends. Although we will not have a major matching grant to spur us this year, Doreen’s challenge is to increase the number of gifts, and thus our base of annual support.
