The ASCSA is the recipient of $366,392 in a Department of Education grant competition among American Overseas Research Centers (AORC) to support overseas postgraduate research and education. The funds will be used over four years ($91,598 each year from October 2007 through September 2011) to relieve the budget of operating expenses for percentages of some staff salaries, acquisitions for the Gennadeion ($17,399 per year) and the Blegen Library ($17,399 per year), and to support the lecture program at the School.
