Gennadius Library Hours
Due to health concerns from August 31, 2020 the hours of operation of the Library are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 to 17:00; Thursday 9:30 to 20:00 and Saturday 9:30 to 14:00.
Due to the epidemiological condition, free access to the bookstacks will not be allowed.
Following the West Wing extension of the Gennadius Library and the major reclassification project of its collections according to the Library of Congress system, registered users can have open access to 90,000 titles of the Library’s research collections. Rare Books and Special Collections can be consulted in the Main Reading Room.
