Dear Friends,
My first year as Director flew by, and now the new crop of students is already about to depart for their second fall trip! Highlights of last year were the creation of the new website; the digitization of 400,000 of our unique archival and excavation resources; the first-ever Open Meeting in Thessaloniki; the acquisition of the archives of President Tsatsos; an array of excellent lectures in Cotsen Hall; and the Cavafy exhibition. Central to our mission remains, of course, our students, their training and mentoring, but it is no exaggeration to say that today the ASCSA is one of the premier research institutions in the world and plays a vital role in the cultural life of Greece and Europe.
Please donate to the Annual Appeal—your gifts help all aspects of the School, making it possible for us to maintain the best possible program and facilities for North American students and scholars, and for all the many others who look to us for leadership in academic and cultural affairs.
This is an exciting time at the School and we need your help!
Contributions to the Annual Appeal can now be made online by clicking here.
Yours,
Jack L. Davis, Director
