Τhe Gennadius Library of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens in partnership with the Schwarz Foundation are delighted to announce the 10th iteration of the renowned “Nights of Classical Music at the Gennadius Library.”
From the 27th to the 29th of September 2024, we welcome in Athens Curtis on Tour, The Nina von Maltzahn Global Touring Initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music. Join us for three sensational concerts of the distinguished Dover Quartet and Erinys Quartet. The repertoire includes classical masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Antonín Dvořák, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Johannes Brahms, and Felix Mendelssohn.
The concerts will be broadcast live on YouTube through the Gennadius Library and Schwarz Foundation websites, offering complimentary access to chamber music enthusiasts in Greece and across the globe.
The Dover Quartet is the Penelope P. Watkins Ensemble in Residence at Curtis Institute.
