Caroline Carter

Caroline is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Program for Mediterranean Art and Archaeology within the Department of Art at the University of Virginia. She has worked on numerous excavations, including projects in Huqoq and Caesarea Maritima in Israel and Mt. Lykaion and Azoria in Greece. Her interests focus on ancient Greek religion and ritual, and, more broadly, the archaeology of sacred landscapes, environmental humanities, and digital humanities.
