Caroline Everts - University of Michigan

Caroline Everts is a 4th year PhD student in the Interdepartmental Program in Ancient Mediterranean Art and Archaeology at the University of Michigan. She received her BA in Classics and Anthropology from Union College (NY) and her MA in Classical Archaeology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She has participated in several archaeological projects, including excavations at Aeclanum, Pompeii, Astypalaia, Pella, and Gradina Rat (Croatia); she currently works at Notion in Turkey. Caroline’s research is centered around ceramic assemblages within households during the Late Hellenistic period, as well as the relationship of glass and its materiality within these contexts.
