Circulation System

Upon the completion of the reclassification project (June 2019), a new system of checking out books from the stacks was implemented.

New RFID self-check kiosks are installed in all library levels and have replaced the old sign-out cards.

RFID technology:

• allows users to check out books online
• provides significantly better security than our current system
• facilitates the tracking of missing books,
• improves the inventorying process
