First Thalia Potamianos Lecture a Resounding Success

The first lecture of the inaugural Thalia Potamianos Annual Lecture Series was a resounding success! On Thursday, October 7, 2021, Dr. Peter Frankopan presented “Greece: Beginnings” to a capacity crowd at Cotsen Hall, and thousands more watched online. The Gennadius Library is deeply grateful to Dr. Frankopan for delivering the lecture and to Gennadius Library Overseer Phokion Potamianos for providing the generous grant that made this program possible.
Please save the dates for Dr. Frankopan's second and third lectures of the series, which will take place on March 16, 2022, in Washington, D.C.
